CLING HVAC has recently debuted its AQ BOX, a new tech-gadget to inspect and display the real-time bus air quality. It is designed to meet the anxious needs of passengers and drivers to know the quality of the air inside the bus during the ride.

CLING HVAC engineers have integrated three sensors to detect PM2.5, TVOC, temperature and humidity, and system works out the air quality index (AQI). AQ box body is made of aluminum alloy, enabling it to be light weight and strong. Surface adopts anodized treatment to ensure its long life span. Matte gloss effect gives it industrial hard core charisma. 

CLING chooses IPS screen for AQ BOX, resolution is 1280X720, and 72 angle full view enables passengers at any position to have a clear view of the air quality reading. For installation, an “L” shape bracket and 4 imbedded bolts are prepared, user can choose to install it wherever fits, because it’s only less than 1kg!

How to make it work? Just provide it with 12-24V DC voltage, everything goes automatically. The air quality index (AQI) is categorized into 6 grades which are: green (0-50), yellow (50-100), orange(100-150), red (150-200), purple (200-300), and brown (≥300). 

After power is on, booting interface shows up, it’s CLING’s motto: Limited space, infinite care. Then moves on to the main interface, containing AQI, PM2.5, TVOC, temperature and humidity reading; after that, the individual interface of AQI, PM2.5 and TVOC is displayed in turn, then main interface again. When air quality is in the green range, it will display “Excellent” and a happy face, but when reading reaches yellow, happy face gets a bit unhappy because now the air quality is just “Good”, and if air quality deteriorates, a sad face appears and “Bad” is displayed.

From the phase of project establishment, CLING engineers have fully considered the user-friendly concept and that is why its front facade is forward-leaning. The box is light and compact, convenient to be installed. When used together with CLING SUPERAIR-III series air purifiers, virus and bacteria is killed and pm2.5 particles are purified and TVOC harmful ingredients are decomposed; user can see the improvement of air quality when both systems are working.
