Dear CLING A/C users:

Thank you for choosing CLING. For A/C with cooling function only, it is commonly not used in winter, in order to make sure all parts get well maintained, please turn on A/C unit at least one time in a warm day of a month, to operate 15 minutes, by engine idling speed, MAX fan speed. When temperature is low, you can press the “snow” button for 3 second to enter forced cooling mode.

Kindly remind you of doing the necessary daily cleaning for A/C ventilation and operation units.
1, Items to be checked before start-up

1.1, take the dust filter from the air return grille, clean it by water and neutral detergent, we suggest you clean it at least once in winter.

1.2, check all the pipes are tightly connected, no leakage; make sure electric control box, fuse, fan speed regulating modules tightly connected, and remove the dust.

1.3, open the engine hatch, examine compressor wire harness plug-ins, pressure switch harness, A/C fuse and coolant pipes tight and without leakage.


1.4, Check compressor surface and oil seal without leakage. In case oil stain is spotted, please drainage the oil off the drainage pipe. (The fixation height of drainage pipe must be higher than the highest height of oil chamber), and clean compressor surface, then use the following steps to check if it is normal.

The oil in the compressor window should be high than 1/4, otherwise it is lacking oil.

After 15 mins operation, it is normal to see some bubbles in sight glass, but if too many bubble, the A/C system lacks refrigerant, please use pressure meter to test.

1.5 Press the middle part of the belt between compressor and engine, elastic range should be within 8-10cm, if more than 10cm, please adjust the belt tightness.

Notice: Observe the green mark inside the sight glass, green means normal, no need for maintenance.

2. Safety precautions:
Before inspection: Please arrange two persons to do the maintenance job, one is in charge of the on and off of vehicle and A/C, the other one is in charge of examination. This is to avoid accident.
During inspection: when vehicle and A/C are turned on, please keep safe distance with the inspected parts, to avoid injuries. It is strictly prohibited to go onto bus top without protection. Make sure safety measures are taken when you are using a ladder or scaffold.
After inspection: Make sure all parts are back to normal status, lest damage occurs after system starts up.
